Why ketamine

You can’t think your way out of something that lives beneath thought.

What if the most tender parts of your story weren’t something you dreaded, but something you felt supported and even curious to explore?

Many people arrive feeling stuck in familiar patterns or carrying emotional weight for years, often exhausted from trying to think their way through it. Through guided journey work and whole-person integration, we help you release patterns that may have felt stuck for years and reconnect with your natural capacity to heal, opening the door to greater clarity, freedom, and self-compassion.

Parts of you, not the whole of you. Ketamine softens the brain’s default mode network, the part that insists “this is just who I am.” In that spaciousness, it becomes easier to meet the anxious part, the people-pleaser or the inner critic as parts of you, not your whole identity. We listen to the wisdom of your body, check in with these parts with curiosity, and make room for your intuitive voice, so you can learn to trust it again.

Many people also describe something beyond the mind: a sense of connection to their higher self, to something greater, and to the knowing that they are not alone. We welcome that, too. This work honors mind, body and spirit.

How ketamine works

A window where the mind becomes flexible again.

Research shows that ketamine can produce rapid and meaningful shifts in mood, often within hours or days, especially for those who have felt stuck despite years of traditional approaches.

Together, these effects create a powerful window of transformation. The brain becomes more open, the nervous system more receptive, and the inner landscape more accessible. From this place, new patterns can take root. Not forced, but emerging naturally as you reconnect with your truth and a deeper way of being.

Rewire

From winter branches to full bloom.

In the podcast, Dr. Eric describes a healthy neuron like a fall tree: full, colorful and vibrant. Under chronic stress, it can dwindle to small, bare winter branches.

Ketamine prompts the brain to release BDNF, which he calls “kind of like fertilizer for the brain,” so new connections can begin to form. Sarah describes the days after a journey as a window when your brain is “like warmed up clay,” easier to mold. That is why integration matters so much: it’s how new growth takes root.

A new approach to healing

Six things that make this work different.

Tap any card to read more.

Preparation & Integration

The journey does not begin or end with the medicine. It is shaped by how you prepare, the intention you set, and the space you enter.

Set and setting prepare the soil. When this foundation is tended with care, the mind becomes more open and receptive, allowing the medicine to land more deeply and meaningfully.

The medicine plants the seed, but what grows depends on how it is nurtured. Through integration, we tend to what has been revealed, creating space for insight to take root and unfold over time.

In this way, the work becomes embodied. It is not just something you experience, but something that continues to grow within you.

Guided Ketamine Journeys

Experience guided ketamine journeys where the body softens, the ego quiets, and awareness expands beyond the familiar.

Each session begins with intention and a grounding meditation, then opens into a music-led, inward journey with no talking, allowing you to fully drop into your inner world and the natural unfolding of the experience.

In this state, you can explore past pain or emotional heaviness from a place of grounded awareness, held in safety and presence. As the mind quiets, space opens to connect with your inner wisdom and the greater energy of the universe.

What arises is not forced, but revealed, as you attune to the intelligence within you.

Intuitively Led

Each experience is thoughtfully tailored to meet you exactly where you are, honoring your story, your pace, and the quiet wisdom within you.

This is a collaborative process rooted in deep listening, where your intuition is not only welcomed, but trusted as a guiding force. As you soften into your own inner knowing, the path begins to reveal itself, unfolding in alignment with who you truly are.

You are not being led away from yourself, but gently guided back home to your truth, your clarity, and the deeper intelligence within you.

Trauma-Informed Care

Safety is the foundation that allows true healing to unfold. You are held in a compassionate, attuned space where every part of you is welcome.

With a trauma-informed approach, we move gently, allowing your nervous system to soften, trust, and open. From this place, curiosity can emerge.

What once felt too activating can be approached with greater steadiness and support, allowing you to revisit these places with presence and compassion.

Here, you can gently return to what once felt overwhelming, held in presence, safety, and support.

Holistic Approach

This work goes beyond the mind. As the nervous system settles, many experience a reconnection that feels both grounding and expansive.

Through integration, you are guided to work with the mind, body, and spirit so insight becomes embodied. Practices like journaling, breathwork, somatic movement, and meditation support this process, helping you connect with your inner wisdom and meet yourself with curiosity and compassion.

This approach also invites a deeper connection to something greater: your sense of meaning, your relationships, and your connection to source.

Lasting Change

Many people arrive feeling stuck in familiar patterns, often exhausted from trying to think their way through it. Through this process, something begins to shift.

Ketamine increases neuroplasticity and quiets the brain’s default mode network, creating a window where the mind becomes less rigid and more open. In this state, old patterns can loosen, and new pathways begin to form, making it easier for new ways of thinking, feeling, and being to take root.

Clients often reconnect with a deeper sense of self, feeling clearer, more open, and aligned with their truth. Change becomes sustainable. No longer confined by old patterns, but guided by who you are becoming.

Working with Sarah as your therapist

Two ways to begin.

Sarah is your ketamine-assisted therapist. Your medicine is always prescribed and monitored by a physician, and there are two ways to get there.

Route one

New to ketamine

After your free consultation, Sarah refers you to a trusted physician for a medical evaluation. If ketamine is right for you, the physician prescribes and monitors your medicine, and Sarah is your therapist through preparation, every journey and integration.

Route two

Already working with a provider

Already have a physician and a prescription? You’re welcome to bring them with you. Sarah works alongside your prescriber as your ketamine-assisted therapist, so you have both medical care and a therapist by your side.

Sarah does not prescribe or dose medication; those decisions always belong to your physician. Ketamine-assisted therapy with Sarah is for Florida residents. Not in Florida? re:Embody, Sarah’s companion app, is launching soon for anyone, anywhere, working with ketamine under a prescriber’s care.

Inside a journey

What a session feels like.

Plan for about two hours, with space to land afterward.

The exact length can vary depending on factors like your metabolism, whether you’ve eaten, and how easily you’re able to settle into the experience.

Sarah guiding a journey through a headset microphone
  1. Arrive

    Intention

You settle into your set and setting and name what you’re ready to explore.

  2. Begin

    Grounding meditation

A guided meditation from Sarah helps your body soften and feel safe.

  3. 10–15 minutes

    The medicine takes effect

In a low-dose session, you keep the capacity to talk and listen, and you’re always free to speak or stay quiet. In a higher-dose journey, it opens into music-led, inward exploration, with no talking required.

  4. 45–75 minutes

    The heart of the journey

Awareness expands. What arises is not forced, but revealed. For some, it opens into something spiritual: a sense of oneness, of being energy, of a higher power. If that comes, it’s a gift. If it doesn’t, that’s okay too. The medicine delivers what you need, not always what you want.

  5. 75–90 minutes

    A gentle return

There’s often a natural sense of returning. Rest, hydrate, nourish, reflect.

  6. Afterward

    Integration

Together, we tend to what was revealed so insight takes root and becomes embodied.

Two ways to journey

Guided by voice, or carried by music.

Different doses create different experiences. In every one, it isn’t Sarah or your thinking mind leading the way. It’s your subconscious. We trust it. The medicine always delivers what you need, though not always what you want.

Low dose

Talk, listen and be guided

The mind quiets, yet you keep the capacity to talk and to listen to words, and it is always your choice whether to speak. This is where Sarah weaves in parts work, inner child healing and past-life regression, following your subconscious wherever it leads.

See a low-dose inner-child journey
Higher dose

A music-led journey inward

A more immersive experience where words fall away and the music becomes your guide. Sarah’s meditation helps you settle in beforehand, and together you integrate what was revealed afterward.

How Sarah guides

Coming home to your younger self.

The arc of a low-dose, inner-child ketamine journey, in Sarah’s words.

One of Sarah’s favorite ways to work: low-dose ketamine sessions woven with parts work. You’re gently guided to explore the inner child parts that have been holding you back from living the life you crave, with the medicine quieting the mind just enough for you to meet them with ease.

Every word is an invitation: welcome, allow, notice, perhaps. Nothing is forced. You set the pace, and generous silence holds as much of the work as the words.

Sarah in seated meditation
  1. Arriving

“There is nowhere else you need to be right now.”

  2. Softening into the body

“A soft golden warmth… like the gentle warmth of morning sunshine.”

  3. Going within

“Beneath the roles you carry… there is a quieter place within you.”

  4. Asking the heart

“What would you have me know for this journey today?”

  5. Following the pattern back

“Something you understand intellectually… and yet find yourself returning to again and again.”

  6. Creating space

“There is this part of you… and there is You. The You beneath it all.”

  7. Seeing the protection

“Thank you for working so hard for me.”

  8. Meeting your younger self

    “How old are you?”

  9. Becoming what they needed

“You are loved. You belong here. You never had to earn love.”

  10. Carrying them forward

“I’ve got you. You can rest.”

Remember this

Something to carry into your journey.

  1. Every journey has a beginning, a middle and an end. Trust that you will come back.

  2. Trust the process. Trust the medicine. Trust your inner healing intelligence, and trust the support around you.

  3. Arrive with curiosity, an open mind and an open heart.

  4. Let your thinking mind rest. You don’t need to understand everything while it’s happening.

  5. Whatever comes up is here for a reason. Your inner healer won’t bring up more than you can hold.

  6. Lean into what is beautiful. Meet what is hard with the same curiosity, and ask: what are you here to show me?

  7. There is no wrong way to journey. Nothing needs to be forced. Let it unfold.

  8. Imagine the music is holding your hand. Lean into it.

  9. Your breath is a guide. Use it to explore, to ask, and to go a little deeper.

  10. Grounding, support and encouragement are always here. All you have to do is ask.

Common questions

Your questions, answered.

How do I get the medicine? Do I need my own doctor?Sarah refers you, or you bring your own prescriber.

Sarah is your therapist, not your prescriber. There are two routes:

  • New to ketamine: after your free consultation, Sarah refers you to a trusted physician for a medical evaluation. If ketamine is right for you, the physician prescribes and monitors your medicine.
  • Already working with a provider: if you already have a physician and a prescription, you can bring them with you, and Sarah works alongside your prescriber as your ketamine-assisted therapist.

Either way, your physician makes all decisions about medication and dosing. Ketamine-assisted therapy with Sarah is for Florida residents; if you live elsewhere, re:Embody is launching soon for anyone working with ketamine under a prescriber’s care.

Is ketamine legal?Yes, and it has been safely used in medicine for decades.

Ketamine is a legal Schedule III medication that has been FDA-approved since the 1970s and is widely used in hospitals for anesthesia and pain management. In mental health care, it is commonly prescribed off label, meaning licensed clinicians can use it in ways supported by research, including for depression, anxiety, and trauma.

When used in a therapeutic setting, ketamine is carefully prescribed, dosed, and monitored by licensed medical providers. You will always go through a medical screening process to ensure it is safe and appropriate for you.

Will I lose control? No. Just a different perspective.

You remain aware throughout the experience. While your usual thought patterns may shift, many people actually feel more connected to themselves and able to observe what is happening with greater clarity and calm. Instead of being pulled into emotions or old patterns, there is often more space between you and what you’re experiencing.

The goal is not to overwhelm your system, but to help you access deeper parts of yourself in a way that feels safe and supported.

What makes your approach different? This is not just about the medicine. It’s about the space it’s held in.

Ketamine can open the door, but it’s the intention, support, and integration that shape what unfolds. I bring both clinical training and lived experience into this work, creating a space that is grounded, intuitive, and deeply attuned to you.

This is not a one-size-fits-all program. It is a collaborative, personalized process where your inner healer leads, and I help guide the way.
